Learn about the fall harvest and savour Ontario dining. Guests Ingrid Clark will explain "pick Ontario freshness" a new program by the Ministry of Agriculture, food and rural affairs.

    Debbie's tip:

    When you are stay at any hotel or resort, keep your valuables in the safe that is offered (if there is none in the room, ask at the desk). Better yet, leave your gold and diamonds at home - wear your costume jewelry and have a worry-free holiday.

    Gisela's feature

    Gisela highlighted a charity event in Toronto this week - Hearts Open Toronto, whose monthly events highlight one charity in the GTA. This month, the focus was on providing living expenses for a Ugandan orphan here for reconstructive surgery, for injuries sustained during an incident that took place when he was 5. Rebels came into his home, killed his entire family, and left him to bleed to death. Donations are still accepted at their website.
